Brady Corbet’s historical drama The Brutalist has unveiled its full trailer, shared by A24. The film explores the journey of an immigrant architect in post-World War II America and has emerged as a significant awards contender.
The new trailer provides a deeper look into Adrien Brody’s portrayal of Jewish architect László Toth, who immigrates to the U.S. after World War II. The film also stars Felicity Jones, Guy Pearce and Joe Alwyn. The narrative centers on Toth's work with aristocrat Harrison Lee Van Buren, played by Pearce.
The Brutalist will be shown first in a limited 70mm release in New York and Los Angeles on December 19, following the filming style of VistaVision. A nationwide release is scheduled for January, marking its transition from an art-house release to a broader audience.
