meteor shower peaks this weekend, however, that bright glowing orb will still be nearly full, so most places will probably be obscured by all but the brightest meteors, as quoted in a report by Time.
The Leonids are famous for their meteors, which can reach speeds of up to 70 kilometres per second (44 miles per second).
King's College London's Shyam Balaji stated that unfortunately this year, the viewing conditions will be affected by a nearly full moon. The chances of seeing more meteors can be increased by watching in the early morning when the moon is lower in the sky.

If viewing conditions are favourable, this shower could produce about 15 visible meteors per hour. On Sunday, when the moon is 98% full, there will be the most activity of the year. The shower continues until December 2.
