The Railway Men', starring R Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Divyenndu, and Babil Khan, is set to launch soon on the OTT platform. The series, a collaboration between Netflix and Yash Raj Films, will be available on Netflix starting November 18.
Directed by debutant director Shiv Rawail, a talent from YRF, the four-episode series is set against the backdrop of the Bhopal Gas Leak, the world's worst industrial disaster.
Inspired by true stories, «The Railway Men» is a thrilling account of courage and a salute to humanity. It narrates the untold stories of the unsung heroes — the railway employees of India, who went beyond their call of duty, attempting to save the lives of hundreds of innocent citizens trapped in a helpless city.
Featuring a remarkable ensemble of actors, including the versatile R Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Divyenndu, and the promising Babil Khan, «The Railway Men» will instill in you the belief that even in the darkest of days, courage can be found in the least expected corner.
In other significant releases, it has been reported that Shah Rukh Khan's blockbuster movie «Jawan» is expected to be released on Netflix on November 2nd.
Earlier, Netflix announced its November lineup, with twenty new titles hitting the platform on November 1st, including «13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi» (2016), «Black Christmas» (2019), «Drag Me to Hell» (2009), «Godzilla: King of the Monsters» (2019), and the Netflix original movie «Wingwomen / Voleuses,» among others.
Later in the month, highly anticipated series like «The Crown» Season 6 and «Squid Game: The Challenge» will also be released.
