According to Tom’s Hardware, this event which was actually dubbed as Jensen Huang's ‘trillion-dollar banquet’ was a gesture of gratitude towards Nvidia's supply chain partners for their contributions to the success of the company. During the gathering, Jensen Huang and TSMC chairman CC Wei exchanged compliments while emphasizing their long standing partnership.
The visit of Jensen Huang to Taiwan included meetings with industry leaders and visits to key manufacturing sites while underscoring the critical role of Taiwan in the global AI and semiconductor industries. Adding into that, he also humorously noted the importance of these partners in technological advancements of Nvidia and highlighted that 45 factories are currently operational to produce supercomputers powered by the chips of Nvidia, asserted Tom’s Hardware.
