The band on Monday announced dates for its tour in North America. The group, led by core members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ron Wood, will begin their American tour in Houston, Texas, followed by performances in 12 other cities in the country before taking the stage in Vancouver city of Canada.
The Rolling Stone's tour, which is promoted by AEG Presents' Concerts West, will wrap up on July 17 with a show in Santa Clara, California.
Fittingly, the tour is sponsored by AARP, the long-running U.S. interest group focused on issues affecting people over 50.
The announcement is not surprising, considering the core trio's proximity to or surpassing their 80th birthdays.
The group has consistently toured almost every year this century, and recently, they delivered a surprise seven-song set in New York. This performance featured several new songs and some timeless classics.
In 2021, the group, despite the recent passing of drummer Charlie Watts, toured North America as part of the «No Filter» tour, marking a significant moment in their long history.
