When Anne Clarke Wolff reflects back on a 30-year investment banking career at some of the biggest Wall Street firms, she believes that there are fewer women at the top than when she started out in 1990.
“It shocks people because there's been so much rhetoric about diversity at the most senior levels of these firms,” she told Financial News. “But when you really actually peel the onion back and you look at the high-earning seats in investment banking, the numbers just aren't there.”
