Amid the deployment of a huge contingent of state and central paramilitary forces the meeting was held.
The three-member team of Union Home ministry which included advisor AK Mishra, joint director IB Mandeep Singh Tuli and joint director SIB Imphal Rajesh Kumble met with Arambai Tenggol leaders on Monday and Tuesday.
Gathering witnessed the signing of a proposal by all MLAs and MPs to protect the state.
However, Chief Minister N Biren Singh was not present in the gathering although he had signed the proposal. The minister was attended by Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Inner Manipur Lok Sabha MP Rajkumar Ranjan Singh and Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba Sanajaoba.
The meeting was convened by the radical group convened in response to the prolonged violence endured by Manipur over the past nine months.
