Trump's 'golden rule' for imposing reciprocal tariffs
During an event, President Trump asked if the audience present wanted him to run again for US President or not. However, it is a known fact that a US President can hold office only twice. This is Trump's second term in the White House and it is unlikely he may become the US President for a third term, unless the US Constitution's 22nd Amendment is tweaked to accommodate this.
Bringing changes to the 22nd Amendment may sound like a very tough ordeal in the current situation, as it needs approvals from all the highest levels of the government, and only then can Trump be able to run for a third term as the US President. However, this is not the first time this idea was floated publicly, and this has been happening right from the time Trump won the US elections 2024.
