Held from December 9–12 and ending in Mysuru, the TiE Global Summit 2024 (TGS24) was a landmark event in India's entrepreneurial environment. The summit, which had as its subject «Putting Entrepreneurship First,» drew more than 28,000 people to Bengaluru, including 14,000 registered attendees. 8,500 entrepreneurs and investors, 5,500 students, 700 innovators from rural schools, 1,500 visitors from abroad, and 650 exhibitors showcasing ground-breaking products made up the diverse crowd.
The president of TiE Bengaluru and chair of TGS24, Madan Padaki, highlighted TiE's 32-year dedication to fostering entrepreneurship and advancing global development. Shri Priyank Kharge, Karnataka's Minister of IT and BT, reaffirmed the state's commitment to encouraging innovation and the vital role that entrepreneurs play in creating a sustainable future.
Inspiring Conversations and Thought Leadership on Entrepreneurship and Global Impact
The AntraPrerana Summit at IISc, which focused on «Bridging Inner Transformation with Entrepreneurial Impact,» kicked off the summit on December 9. Notable speakers at the main event, which began on December 10 at the Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre, included Bollywood stars Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur, who spoke about entrepreneurship through storytelling, and tennis great Andre Agassi, who offered advice on keeping a «Marathon Mindset.» Important topics like talent, AI, the future of leadership, geopolitics, and the climate were covered in plenary sessions.
