Directed by Vikas Bahl, 'Ganapath' promised action and a futuristic theme and marked the return of Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon as a pair since their debut in 'Heropanti' back in 2014. Despite mixed to poor reviews, there was hope that the film's unique theme might appeal to audiences, particularly children.
However, the initial box office results suggest a different story.
Apart from the film's performance, the subdued promotional efforts by the makers have also been a contributing factor. Notably, Kriti Sanon was conspicuously absent from the film's recent promotional events, as she was en route to Delhi to receive her Best Actress National Award for her role in 'Mimi.'
