Tiger Woods' former girlfriend, has dropped her lawsuits against the golfer and the trust overseeing his Florida residence. Despite earlier claims in court filings, Herman stated she was «never a victim of sexual harassment or sexual abuse at the hands of Tiger Woods.»
The dismissed lawsuits include one against Woods personally and another against the trust, where Herman alleged she was wrongfully evicted from the residence, seeking $30 million in damages. She also filed a suit against Woods regarding a disputed non-disclosure agreement between them.
“Erica Herman states that she was never a victim of sexual harassment or sexual abuse at the hands of Tiger Woods or any of his agents and it is her position that she never asserted a claim for such,” a voluntary dismissal notice filed by her reads.
“All parties shall bear their own fees and costs.”
The «sexual harassment» allegations
Previous court documents filed on behalf of Erica Herman by her attorney Benjamin Hodas accused Tiger Woods of sexual harassment. In a document titled «plaintiff’s response» filed in May, detailed allegations were made against Woods regarding his alleged sexual harassment of Herman, who was the plaintiff in the case.
“When the sexual relationship ended, she was kicked out of her home.,” the document said. “Mr.
Woods does not own the house; it is owned by a trust. Ms. Herman had a tenancy agreement with the trust.
That agreement was broken, and Mr. Woods and his agents have taken the position that this happened because of the end of the sexual relationship between Ms. Herman and Mr.
