Tinder date and his car ablaze, according to a report.
According to Police, the incident occurred on November 25. One Destiny Lenai Johnson had met a man after they became acquaintance on Tinder dating app, as per an arrest report obtained by USA TODAY on Wednesday.
The man informed the police that Johnson contacted him around 5 am (local time), asking to meet at a hotel. Upon meeting, she requested money, and when he declined, she became enraged. According to the man, Johnson then poured a substance resembling gasoline on the passenger's seat and set it on fire with a lighter.
Court records reveal that Johnson has been charged with aggravated battery, attempted murder, and arson. She was arrested on Monday and is currently held at a Miami-Dade county jail, with a bond set at $10,000 for each charge.
