Travis Kelce, the standout tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, recently attended Taylor Swift's Eras tour at Arrowhead Stadium. The 33-year-old athlete had a plan to give Taylor his phone number, which he engraved on a bracelet he made for her. However, the bracelet didn't reach Taylor as intended.
Travis Kelce expressed he was left “disappointed” after he was not able to hand Taylor Swift one of the bracelets he made for her. He mentioned on the «New Heights» podcast with his brother Jason that Taylor doesn't talk before or after her shows, as she needs to preserve her voice for the 44 songs she performs. Travis humorously stated he was «a little butthurt» and that he didn't get the chance to give her the bracelet with his number on it.
While he felt personally taken aback that she didn't want to meet him, he still appreciated the incredible show she put on. “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” Travis told his brother Jason on the “New Heights” podcast. He continued, “I wanted to give Taylor Swift [a bracelet] with my number on it…She doesn’t meet anybody — or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal.
But it was an unbelievable show”. Jason playfully teased that Taylor Swift's rejection might be because she's a big Eagles fan and hasn't gotten over their Super Bowl loss to the Chiefs. However, Travis, who recently ended things with Kayla Nicole, took it in good spirits, saying he still had a fantastic time at the concert.
