Donald Trump has temporarily removed the iconic Resolute Desk used by his Democratic predecessors Joe Biden and Barack Obama from the Oval Office and replaced it with the C&O desk. Trump ordered the iconic Resolute Desk removed from the Oval Office for refurbishment after Elon Musk’s 4-year-old son, Little X, appeared to pick his nose and rub the desk on live TV last week.

The Resolute Desk, crafted from the once-abandoned British arctic exploration ship the HMS Resolute and was gifted to President Rutherford Haye by Queen Victoria in 1880. The iconic desk has been used by almost every US leader in West Wing.
