Storyline and Cast

The story follows Kate Cooper, played by Daisy Edgar-Jones. She is a former storm chaser who left the field after a tragic experience. Now, she studies storms from a safe distance in New York.

Her friend Javi, played by Anthony Ramos, convinces her to return. They test a new storm-tracking system in the open plains. While there, she meets Tyler Owens, played by Glen Powell. He is a social media star who chases storms with his team.

As the storm season intensifies, new weather phenomena emerge. Kate, Tyler, and their teams face multiple converging storm systems in Oklahoma. Their survival depends on their skills and teamwork.

Twisters features a large cast, including Brandon Perea, Sasha Lane, Maura Tierney, Harry Hadden-Paton, Daryl McCormack, David Corenswet, David Born, Nik Dodani and Kiernan Shipka.
