Twinkle Stanly with what supposedly looked like a scammer has gone viral. After the UAE-based content creator shared the conversation on Instagram, the post has garnered likes of over 2 lakh. Twinkle Stanly has over 1 lakh followers on Instagram.
«My toxic trait is speaking to them until they get annoyed with me,» she captioned the post.
It seems that she realized early that the caller was a scammer but she acted 'dumb' to keep the conversation going.
In the initial part of their conversation, the man on the other end of the phone call tries to reassure her and then asked her to verify her debit card number, and mentions her bank's name. The man asks her if her debit card number begins with certain four digits, she tells him a random three-digit number. The man even gets angry and tells her: «Are you making drama with me?».
Many of her followers commented on the post and some of them also said that they too had received similar calls from scammers.
