Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray in a party rally in Nashik cautioned Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath that the Bharatiya Janata Party leadership would ‘shunt’ him out the same way as former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
“The BJP leadership has a use and throw policy, they used Devendra and then they threw him away, they will do the same way with Eknath Shinde, they sidelined Vasundhra Raje in Rajasthan, in Madhya Pradesh they shunted out Shivraj Singh Chouhan after he won the state. I am now afraid for Yogi(Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister), it is time for him to be cautious, once the MP’s are elected in his state, they may shunt him out too.”said Thackeray while addressing a rally in Nashik.
Thackery claimed that the BJP leadership had ‘used’ the Shiv Sena leadership when the BJP was going through a ‘tough’ time and then dumped it.
Thackeray who heads the Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray faction of the Sena claimed that the BJP had not done anything in the last ten years and hence it had resorted to use the name of ‘Lord Ram’ to win votes.
“ If you have to talk of Ram to win votes then what did you do in ten years? In Karnataka also you had to seek votes under Hanuman’s name. What did you do in ten years if you had to take Hanuman and Ram’s name to get votes.”claimed Thackeray.
The UBT leader also alleged that the BJP was managing to win the elections by manipulating EVM’s.
