The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2024 examination, which was conducted in January 2025. The final answer key and results are expected to be announced soon on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
The UGC NET December 2024 exam was conducted on January 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 16, 21, and 27, 2025, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode for 85 subjects. The provisional answer key was released on January 31, and candidates were allowed to raise objections until February 3 by paying a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per objection.
NTA has stated that subject experts will verify the objections raised. If a challenge is found valid, the answer key will be revised accordingly. However, candidates will not be individually informed about the acceptance or rejection of their objections. The final results will be prepared and declared based on the final answer key.
Once the results are declared, candidates can check their scores by following these steps:
