The UK is set for its fourth finance minister in as many months amid media reports that incumbent Kwasi Kwarteng will be sacked on Friday.
Prime Minister Liz Truss will dismiss Kwarteng as part of a U-turn on the government's mini-budget announced last month, report the BBC, Sky and other political correspondents.
Kwarteng's financial plan -- which pledged billions of tax cuts funded by borrowing -- sparked market turbulence and an intervention from the Bank of England.
