UltraTech Cement is expected to report a net profit of Rs 1,962 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024 which will be an 18% year-on-year jump over the corresponding quarter of the last financial year according to average estimates of three brokerages. Sequentially the profit is expected to go up by 13%.
The revenue from operations for the reporting quarter is likely to remain at Rs 20,057 crore according to the average estimates, which will be higher by 8.50% on the year-on-year basis. On the quarter-on-quarter basis, the revenue for the January-March quarter is expected to go up by 21.26%.
In the year ago period, UltraTech had reported a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 1,650.3 while the revenue from operations stood at Rs 18,321.6 crore.
Prabhudas Lilladher's revenue estimates of Rs Rs 20,880.60 crore for the Q4FY24 quarter remain the highest in the pack while Nuvama's remains the lowest at Rs 19,540.20 crore
The uptick in revenue will be on higher YoY volumes with Sharekhan estimating a 10% YoY gain while Nuvama sees a 6% uptick.
