Central and state government of Uttar Pradesh and the work is in full swing, an official release said.

According to District Magistrate Nitish Kumar, all the works of Maryada Purushottam Shriram International Airport are to be done in three phases. For this, 100 per cent work of acquiring total 821 acres of land included in the project has been completed.
Along with this, the runway work of phase-one of the airport has also been 100 per cent completed.
Here, the work of CAT-1 and RESA facilities for night landing and landing in fog and mist has also been 100 per cent completed.
Similarly, the work of ATC tower is also 100 per cent complete. According to the District Magistrate, the obstacles to the operation of the airport have been removed.
Before operation of the airport by the Airport Authority of India aircraft, various components included in the Instrument Landing System (ILS) at the airport such as localizer, glide path, marker, D.M.E.
etc. calibration have also been done.
The District Magistrate has inspected the under-construction terminal building and under-construction apron etc.
