According to a TOI report, the app will calculate the distance between schools via GIS and select a centre based on the location of the school in question. Officials from the UPSEB say that this decision is aimed at making the process of examination centre determination more transparent for the 2024 board exams.
The application, available for Android phones, needs to be downloaded by the school's principal and register the exact geo-location of the respective school. Through the app, the principal will click photo of school from school premises will automatically be uploaded on the board’s server, making it accessible to everyone else with the app.

edu. in) can be used for uploading and updating the photo as the same website has been made functional.
The members of the block-wise development committee of the principals of government schools will reach the school and physically verify the basic information uploaded on the website. The committee will submit the verification report to the District School Inspector’s Office by July 28.
