USMNT vs Panama: Concacaf Nations League semi-final time, schedule, prediction and more
Concacaf Nations League semi-finals will get underway on Thursday, March 20, with three-time reigning champion United States (USMNT) looking forward to its fourth consecutive final.
The United States is pitted against Panama, while the other match will see Canada eying its first major trophy in nearly 25 years if at all it manages to overcome the challenge of Mexico.
USMNT vs Panama: What to expect?
The USMNT is eying another title and was expected to reach the semi-finals of the Concacaf Nations League. They are the only side to have lifted the trophy ever since it was introduced in 2019, with Mexico being the runners-up twice.
This will be their maiden chance to win the trophy under the leadership of Mauricio Pochettino. This will allow the US to mark a strong statement ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, scheduled to take place in the country, The New York Times reported.
On the other hand, Panama has never been able to clear the semi-finals at the competition. During the quarter-finals, they defeated Costa Rica 3-2 on aggregate.

The US will be playing in the absence of Antonee Robinson, who was ruled out due to injury. However, the side has seen Tyler Adams' return to the squad that will provide them enough options to have a strong midfield, CBS Sports reported.
