A recent memo has been circulated to employees on Tuesday informing them about the elimination of some of Walmart's crucial roles, according to a Fox Business report. Chief People Officer Donna Morris has also asked office-based employees based in Hoboken, New Jersey as well as some of other Walmart's smaller offices to relocate to the company headquarters in Arkansas. Others could also move to their other office in Sunnyvale, California, as per reports.
What is the ultimate goal of this relocation?
Walmart is currently busy streamlining its work module through the elimination of some rules, based on their internal review process. According to company officials, these changes will help in putting key capabilities intact and will also help accelerate the momentum of the operational teams' workflow at Walmart.
