Watch: Bihar YouTuber slaps train passenger for fame, arrested as Railway Police vow no compromise on security
Anugraha Narayan Road railway station in Bihar, a man was caught on camera slapping a random train passenger—all for social media fame.
As a train passed by, Ritesh Kumar stood on the platform, reached out, and slapped a seated commuter while his friend filmed the act. The video went viral, sparking outrage online.
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) acted quickly, tracking Kumar down and arresting him. Announcing the arrest on their official X (formerly Twitter) account, the RPF stated: “No compromise on passenger security!!! A YouTuber who slapped a passenger on a moving train for social media fame has been tracked & arrested by #RPF Dehri-on-Sone! Your safety matters to us—reckless acts will not be tolerated.”
To emphasise the seriousness of the matter, Kumar was made to issue a public apology video.

We’ve already started this transition, and we plan to do more of it this fiscal.”Beyond mobile phones and laptops, EMS firms are expanding into smart metres for electricity boards, aerospace and defence subsystems, railway safety instrumentation, printed circuit boards and display assemblies, and medical devices deployed in hospitals.India’s annual mobile phone shipments have remained subdued since the covid-19 pandemic, with industry estimates pointing to a single-digit decline this calendar year from 152 million smartphones shipped last year.The margin pressure driving this shift is increasingly visible.In FY26, Syrma SGS reported an operating margin of 7.1%, up 2.3 percentage points.
