Anand Mahindra recently shared a heartfelt post about the bond between animals and human beings. Taking to his X profile on Sunday, the billionaire dropped a picture of a man cuddling with an elephant and captioned it, “The finest way to spend a Sunday.”

The adorable picture, which depicted a rather tender bond between an elephant and its caretaker, made netizens rather emotional. One X user wrote, “Thanks for posting this very heart-warming &moving picture of a giant elephant, giving its master the opportunity to sleep by its side- So many times we have seen how good spirit animals LIKE elephants have towards their human masters—from dogs and cats to even birds—thanks for making our day! Dear Sir!”
Another quipped, “Best couch!” Another comment read, “Real happiness is here.”
This is far from the first time Mahindra has shared about elephants. In January, he re-shared a post that elaborated on a rescue operation of an elephant. The incident was originally posted by an IAS officer and it beautifully documented how forest officials reunited a lost baby elephant with its mother.
According to IAS officer Supriya Sahu’s post, the incident took place in Tamil Nadu. “The year ends on a heartwarming note for us at TN Forest Department, as our Foresters united a lost baby
