Luigi Mangione who is the 26 year old Ivy League graduate has been eventually charged with the accusation of murdering the UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, who was shot outside a Manhattan hotel in this month, reported New York Post.
According to New York Post, Luigi Mangione who originally belongs from Towson located in Maryland reportedly harbored severe anti-capitalist sentiments and actually expressed his grievances against the healthcare industry in a manifesto. This certain document contained references to the infamous ‘Unabomber’ Ted Kaczynski and eventually reflected the discontent of Luigi Mangione with societal conditions and the medical community's treatment of his sick relative.

New York Post asserted that Luigi Mangione was apprehended in Altoona which is located in Pennsylvania following a tip off which led the police to him at a McDonald's. While he got arrested, he was found in possession of a ghost gun, fake IDs and the manifesto.
His close friends described him as a pretty well liked individual during his school years while noting his academic achievements and social demeanor. Though, eventually they expressed severe shock at his alleged involvement in such a violent crime.
