Nicolas Maduro of committing a “major election fraud,” and labeling him a “dictator”, billionaire businessman Elon Musk has accepted his challenge to fight him on X. He also predicted that the Latin American leader will “chicken out” of the fight. Earlier, the reelected president of the oil-rich country said that the social media creates a virtual reality. He called the Tesla CEO his «new archenemy» and challenged him to fight him on television. Maduro said, “Do you want to fight? Let’s do it. Elon Musk, I’m ready. I’m not afraid of you, Elon Musk. Let’s fight, wherever you want.”
Maduro's comment went viral on social media platforms and many users on X tagged Musk and asked him if he would accept the challenge. Musk replied to one of such tweets and wrote, “I accept.”

Though Nicolas Maduro secured 51% of the votes in Venezuela’s intensely contested and widely criticized presidential elections. Opposition leader Edmundo Gonzalez received 44% of the votes. But the US and many western countries have rejected the election results because pre-election polls showed the opposition candidate leading by a wide-margin. A peeved opposition has urged the military to intervene.
