Elon Musk Biopic in the Works at A24 With Darren Aronofsky Set to Direct
A biopic on world's richest man Elon Musk biopic is in the workis.
The film, which will be made by American independent entertainment company A24, is likely to be directed by Darren Aronofsky.
As per a report on Variety, the biopic will be based on Walter Isaacson’s authorized biography of the tech mogul. Interestingly, 2015 Universal film on Steve Jobs, starring Michael Fassbender as the Apple CEO, was an adaptation of a book written by Issacson.
The report further said that there was intense competition among studios and filmmakers vying to secure the rights to Walter Isaacson's book, with A24 emerging as the winner in the bidding war.
Darren Aronofsky, renowned for his surreal and psychologically charged filmmaking style seen in movies such as «Requiem for a Dream» (2000), «Black Swan» (2010), and «Mother!» (2017), will helm the project. Aronofsky, previously nominated for a best director Oscar for «Black Swan,» has a distinctive approach to storytelling that aligns with the themes in Isaacson's book.
