The move of joining 'Threads' comes after the White House commented on recent Elon Musk’s antisemitic controversy where he shared a conspiracy theory on X.
Biden’s profile garnered over two million followers after an hour of joining 'Threads.' In his first post on the social media platform, President said «Folks, it’s President Biden.”
“You’re hearing from me today from a new platform, but my message to you hasn’t changed: Right now, we face an inflection point – one of those challenging moments in history where the decisions we make today will determine decades to come,” the president said.
The White House on Friday accused Elon Musk of repeating a „hideous“ antisemitic lie on his social media site X this week.
It has called his comments as „abhorrent promotion of antisemitic and racist hate“ that „runs against our core values as Americans.“
