Premier League (WPL) auction for the 2024 season is set to take place on December 9 in Mumbai. A total of 165 players will be up for grabs during the auction, as the tournament gears up for its second edition.
The WPL is expected to be held in February-March next year. Out of the 165 players, 104 are Indian cricketers, while 61 are overseas players, with 15 hailing from associate nations.
Among them, 56 players have already represented their national teams, while the remaining 109 are uncapped players. The five franchises participating in the WPL are Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Giants, UP Warriorz, and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Among the players to be auctioned, Kim Garth (Australia) and Deandra Dottin (West Indies) have the highest base price tag of Rs 50,00,000 each.
