Recent Challenges for Musk's Ventures
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, acquired Twitter in October 2022 for $44 billion and rebranded it as X in July 2023. Since the acquisition, he has reduced the company's workforce by about 80%. Recently, Tesla has faced various attacks and protests. These events have been linked to Musk's role in the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), where significant federal budget cuts and workforce reductions have been implemented. This association has led to public backlash against his companies.
