The film Your Monster, after its theatrical release via Vertical, will debut globally on Max on January 24. On January 25, it will air on HBO at 8:00 p.m. ET.

The movie revolves around Laura Franco, a soft-spoken actor played by Melissa Barrera. Laura is recovering from surgery and dealing with a breakup. She moves to her childhood home for recovery. Complications arise when Laura discovers her ex-partner is staging a musical she helped develop. As she struggles with her emotions, Laura encounters a monster. This connection inspires her to rediscover her ambitions and embrace her anger to rebuild her life.
The film marks the directorial debut of Caroline Lindy. She adapted the script from her 2020 short film of the same name. Your Monster stars Tommy Dewey as the monster and features performances by Kayla Foster and Meghann Fahy.
