markets UPS Manufacturing Sustainability wellness Trade show Time to buy the value? Deven Choksey on where to buy the dips
Deven Choksey, MD, DRChoksey FinServ, says whenever the market has made a panic bottom in the past, in the following 3 months to 9 months or 12 months, some of the stocks would give a very smart recovery as high as 70-80% and as low as 25% to 30% in most of the cases. Should that particular trade hold this time around, then from the 21,800, 21,900 kind of a level which Nifty saw a few days back, market should have a recovery back to 24,200, 24,800 kind of levels. Choksey says it is time to buy the value. Some of the NBFCs, HFCs, manufacturers supplying to renewable companies and power utilities or companies in engineering R&D, have some brilliant propositions in the corrective downside. We have had an over 1,000-point recovery on Sensex from the lows. How believable and sustainable is it looking to you? Deven Choksey: The question that should be asked is why should it sustain? The most important part, technically, the market has been in an oversold situation for a long period of time and that oversold situation was continuing largely because of the constant selling by the FPIs. Now, the selling of the FPI has muted, it has come down to a greater extent, largely also because of the fact that the currency is also not depreciating.

COST Man students country isolate Colleges Delhi man regrets moving to Canada, calls it a trap. ‘High costs, useless degrees, zero work-life balance’, thinks India is a better option
One of his major concerns was the education system. He claimed that most students enroll in private or low-ranking colleges that charge exorbitant tuition fees while offering little academic value. Professors, according to him, put minimal effort into teaching, and the outdated curriculum fails to prepare students for real-world jobs. Many graduates find their diplomas hold little weight in the job market, leaving them with no choice but to take up low-paying survival jobs like Uber driving, warehouse labor, or retail work. Sharing his own experience, he expressed frustration over what he called a failing education system that prioritizes profit over student success.

Target BLOCK Action Election Doge Department International Judge blocks Elon Musk's DOGE from more USAID cuts, cites likely unconstitutionality
Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) likely violated the Constitution by dismantling the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), indefinitely blocking DOGE from making further cuts. The ruling requires the Trump administration to restore email and computer access to all USAID employees, including those on administrative leave. However, it does not reverse firings or fully reinstate the agency. In one of the first lawsuits directly targeting Musk, U.S. District Judge Theodore Chuang in Maryland rejected the Trump administration’s claim that Musk is merely an adviser to President Donald Trump. Citing Musk’s public remarks and social media posts, Chuang found that Musk has “firm control over DOGE.” He highlighted a post in which Musk claimed to have “fed USAID into the wood chipper.” The judge warned that USAID’s ability to fulfill its legal obligations had likely been compromised. “Taken together, these facts support the conclusion that USAID has been effectively eliminated,” Chuang wrote in the preliminary injunction.
