Why are India's richie rich choosing Dubai to migrate?
rich plan to migrate to another country, most of them choose the United Arab Emirates and particularly Dubai, which is one of the Emirates. A report by Henley & Partners, an international investment migration advisory firm, says approximately 4,300 millionaires are projected to leave India this year. And most of them are headed to the UAE. However, it's not that India's rich are in a hurry to leave the country. It's only a small number of rich Indians. «India continues to lose large numbers of millionaires, especially to the UAE. However, in our view these outflows are not particularly concerning as India continues to produce far more new HNWIs than it loses to emigration. Furthermore, the bulk of the millionaires who leave India tend to retain business interests and second homes in the country, which is a positive sign,» says the report. Why the UAE has such a pull for rich Indians The UAE is a bigger attraction for India's rich than other popular destinations for migration, such as Australia, Singapore, Israel, Switzerland, the US, Canada, New Zealand and the UK.

Sales of affordable homes — priced up to Rs 60 lakh each — declined 4 per cent in eight major cities to 61,121 units during January-March this year on lower supply and higher demand for luxury apartments, according to PropEquity. The top eight cities are — Delhi-NCR, Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune and Ahmedabad. Real estate data analytic firm PropEquity data showed that sales of homes, costing up to Rs 60 lakh each stood at 6,3787 units in the January-March period of the last calendar year. Bullet train progress takes center stage in Modi-Kishida bilateral talks
Modi, in a bilateral meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, reiterated that strengthening ties with Japan remains a top priority in his third term. This reaffirmation highlights the ongoing collaboration between India and Japan in several key sectors. The Indian government highlighted the collaboration on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed rail project, describing it as a significant step forward for India's mobility infrastructure. Despite facing a five-year delay, Japanese authorities confirmed earlier this year that work on all sections has commenced and expressed satisfaction with the progress. They assured that all uncertainties regarding the project have been resolved. In addition, both leaders discussed Japan's planned 5 trillion yen investment in India over the 2022-2027 period. They also reviewed the India-Japan Industrial Competitiveness Partnership, which aims to enhance manufacturing cooperation between the two nations.
