Career Remark Opinion film Actor Persona stars Salman Khan's cheeky reply on nepotism: ‘Kangana Ranaut's daughter will enter films or politics?
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, known for his larger-than-life persona and unfiltered opinions, recently shared his thoughts on the ongoing nepotism debate in the film industry. During a press event for his upcoming film Sikandar, the actor tackled the subject with his signature humor and candidness. Speaking at the conference on March 26, 2025, Salman dismissed the idea of anyone being completely self-made, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and opportunities shaped by circumstances. He acknowledged that his own journey in the industry was influenced by his father, veteran writer Salim Khan, whose decision to move from Indore to Mumbai played a crucial role in shaping his (Salman) career. Reflecting on this, he pointed out that without his father’s move, he might have been leading a completely different life in Indore. The discussion took an amusing turn when the conversation shifted to star kids entering Bollywood. When Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha, was mentioned as an example, Salman misheard and jokingly referenced Kangana Ranaut, playfully speculating whether her future child would enter films or politics. He said, “Ab Kangana ki beti aayengi, to films karengi ya politics join karengi? To unko bhi…” His lighthearted remark added a moment of laughter to the conversation, showcasing his trademark wit.

COST Citi Target hospital patient rights Mumbai doctor bombarded with weight-loss drug Mounjaro enquires. Don't ignore his advice
Dr. Rahul Baxi is a Mumbai-based diabetologist, and his patients are rushing to him to ask about the new drug that claims to help with weight loss. In a recent tweet, he shared that many come in with the same question: can they start taking the much-hyped medication to shed extra kilos? India’s fascination with the new Rs 16,000-a-month weight-loss injection is in full swing, with people hoping for a quick fix. However, Dr. Baxi emphasizes that the injection isn’t a magic solution for everyone. Without essential lifestyle changes like a balanced diet, regular walking or exercise, and strength training, the results may not be as effective. He stresses that the medication should only be used under a doctor’s supervision and prescribed to the right patients for the best outcomes. Netizens have shared mixed reactions to the buzz around the new weight-loss injection. Some highlighted the effectiveness of traditional methods, with one person mentioning how regular yoga, evening walks, and home-cooked meals helped lower their HbA1c from 6.2 to 5.8, despite the challenges of maintaining a strict diet in a food-loving city like Indore.

markets UPS Manufacturing Tesla country reports International Is Tesla-killer BYD chasing Elon Musk to India?
Tesla struggles with falling sales and share price and global protests against his brand for his support to US President Donald Trump, its CEO Elon Musk looks at India with hope. Long seen as a potential disruptor for India's EV, Tesla is finally entering India, opening a showroom in Mumbai to sell its imported cars and has plans to set up a manufacturing plant in Maharashtra. However, Tesla has lost years dilly-dallying on its India entry and meanwhile Indian EV makers have grown enough to make things difficult for it. Many think the company may not after all be able to disrupt the Indian market in any significant way nor reap any huge dividends. Tesla may face another big challenge in India. Its global rival BYD (Build Your Dreams), which sells cars imported from China in India, could be planning to manufacture in the country. According to unconfirmed media reports, the Chinese EV giant is planning to set up a factory in Telangana. BYD, together with Indian EV makers such as Mahindra and Tata; the JV between India's JSW and China's MG Motor; and Korean and Japanese automakers CAN make it difficult for Tesla to benefit from the Indian market in any substantial way.
