How did 25-year-old black woman disappear from Interstate 459 in Hoover?
Carlee Russell gone from Interstate 459 in Hoover? Has she been kidnapped or killed? Has she hidden herself somewhere for some unknown reason? How can the 25-year-old Black lady simply disappear after telling a 911 dispatcher and her family that she saw a child wandering alone? No one knows. Jefferson State has expressed concerns about the situation and said it is extremely concerned for Russell’s safety. The family has said that Russell holds a bachelor’s in psychology from AUM. She works for The Woodhouse Day Spa and studies at Jeff State to become a nurse. Before her disappearance, Russell spent time with police officers in Harpersville. The police officers called her a ‘courteous, smart and honoring young woman.’ She stopped at 9 pm at Taziki at the Colonnade to buy food for herself and her mother. Soon after this, Hoover 911 received a call from Russell at 9.34 pm. Police Officer Lowe said that Russell stopped the child and called a family member after calling 911. The police reached at the spot to find Russell’s red Mercedes still running. But it was vacant, and the child was not found anywhere in the area. Russell’s mother Talitha told police that her daughter called the girlfriend of her brother at 9.36. Her brother’s girlfriend later said that she heard Russell’s screaming and the noise of passing vehicles on the road. The mother said that Russell’s phone, hat, and wig were found on the ground. Her purse containing her ear pods and Apple watch was in the purse. Tiltha also said that a trucker gave a clue, he said that he saw a brown man with khaki pants leaning on Russell’s car. The police are still clueless about Russell’s whereabouts.
