markets UPS Analysis Food Trade show Market Wrap: Sensex falls 153 points, Nifty below 25,100 as inflation spooks investors; RIL, IT stocks weigh
Sensex and Nifty50, gave up early gains and ended in the red on Tuesday, dragged down by index heavyweights Reliance Industries, financial, and IT stocks. A drop in metals and automakers also helped the downturn. The chances of a delayed domestic rate cut after a hotter-than-expected September inflation print dampened investor sentiments. The BSE Sensex fell 153 points, or 0.19%, to close at 81,820, while the NSE Nifty dropped 70 points, or 0.28%, to end at 25,057.

Eldos Mathew Punnoose exercised India's right of reply against Pakistan at the Joint General Debate on decolonization at the United Nations on Monday. Punnoose condemned Pakistan's «unsubstantiated allegations» regarding the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. He emphasised the need for Pakistan to cease its ongoing human rights violations in Pakistan-occupied Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. Targeting Pakistan, he said, «Unsubstantiated allegations by Pakistan largely pertain to the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. markets Digital social reports Videos Scandals Canada's Justin Trudeau major controversies: From blackface scandal to holidaying at rich friend's resort
Justin Trudeau's aggression and allegation towards Indian officials in a «murder investigation» has only worsened the already frosty India-Canada ties. Ties between India and Canada have been thorny ever since Justin Trudeau alleged India's involvement in the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a Canadian Khalistani terrorist, in June 2023. India has repeatedly refuted these claims as «absurd» and «motivated,» accusing Trudeau's government of indulging in vote-bank politics by pandering to pro-Khalistan elements within Canada. Justin Trudeau has experienced a number of scandals and missteps since taking power in November 2015. Amid the growing tensions between India and Canada, let's have a look at the controversies of Justin Trudeau:

markets Target Digital Strategy Experts information Indian govt agents targeting Khalistanis using Bishnoi Group, alleges Canadian Police
Lawrence Bishnoi gang to Indian government agents while alleging “use” of “organised crime elements” to target the pro-Khalistani elements. The accusations comes as the ties between the two nations started deteriorating further with India expelling six Canadian diplomats, hours before Canada’s foreign ministry announced the expulsion of six Indian diplomats. Indian diplomats and consular officials based in Canada leveraged their official positions to engage in clandestine activities, such as collecting information for Indian govt that was used to target members of the South Asian community, alleged Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) that is handling the probe into the Hardeep Singh Nijjar murder case. RCMP had arrested three persons in the Nijjar case in May this year. Canada's Justin Trudeau on the claims said «As the RCMP Commissioner stated earlier, they have clear and compelling evidence that agents of the Government of India have engaged in and continue to engage in activities that pose a significant threat to public safety, including clandestine information gathering techniques, coercive behaviour targeting South Asian Canadians, and involvement in over a dozen threatening and violent acts, including murder.»

markets UPS Manufacturing economy wellness Trade electronic Why IT stocks are at all-time high despite growth concerns? Rana Gupta answers
«So, whether the fiscal incentive comes or not, that will determine quite a few things. And of course, if exports were to revive, then it can become a much better trade. But these two has not happened yet and in the absence of these two, China remains more of a tactical trade,» says Rana Gupta, Manulife Investment Management. All of us in the last 15 days have spent a considerable time in understanding this China comeback and sell India trade. Is that a real trade? Do you think that is a multi-year trade or that trade is already over? Rana Gupta: Well, it depends on whether the Chinese policymakers go down the path of a large fiscal stimulus or not. In our view, China was export oriented economy, which got its savings and invested in real estate.

Bharti Airtel Chairman Sunil Mittal said today. “Opening up of the space sector to private industry is a big step….but intertemporal choices will have to be made as to how satellite services which are moving fast and technologies need to coexist with terrestrial networks,” Mittal said while speaking during the inaugural of World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA-24) and India Mobile Congress. markets Digital Strategy Mobile Experts PAM reports Satellite companies should buy spectrum by paying license fees just like telcos: Bharti Airtel's Mittal
satellite spectrum, telecom tycoon Bharti Airtel's Sunit Mittal on Tuesday while addressing India Mobile Conferrence asserted that satcoms need to buy spectrum the same way telecom operators do along with paying license fees. «Telecom companies around the globe have done seminal work in connecting the world. They will take the satellite services into the remotest parts of the nations through the USO program and directly through themselves. The satellite companies who have ambitions to come into urban areas serving elite retail customers just need to take the telecom licenses like everybody with the same conditions and will have to buy the spectrum and pay license fees as the telecom players,» Mittal said. The issue around satellite spectrum allocation has once again become the point of disagreement between Reliance Jio and other satcom players.
