Unicommerce is expanding its overseas operations by onboarding more clients, a top official said on Tuesday. Unicommerce is already serving 46 clients in Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia and is now expanding these operations by adding more clients. Some of its clients in these markets include the UAE-based fashion brand Redtag, the Philippines-based kids' wear brand Edamama and the UAE-based logistics player RSA Global.

Indonesian Defence Minister Prabowo Subianto as the next president augurs well for Jakarta’s strategic partnership with New Delhi, given that he has shown keen interest in India’s defence capabilities and social security schemes, according to experts. Subianto had contested the presidential polls in 2014 and 2019, but never won. This time round, the 72-year-old former Special Forces commander has cornered enough votes to be sworn in as the next President of Indonesia.

Jaishankar and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi have met briefly in Germany on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, their first meeting in more than six months. Video footage from the Munich Security Conference showed Jaishankar and Wang having a brief chat on the sidelines of the prestigious event attended by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and other top diplomats from across the world. However, there is no official word on the gist of their discussion from both capitals. This was the first meeting between the two leaders in over six months. The two last met in July in the Indonesian capital Jakarta at the ASEAN Regional Forum.

Taiwan, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was inked on Friday, opening doors for Indian migrant workers to explore job opportunities in Taiwan. «Taiwan-India relations reach a new high! In that meeting, Jaishankar had underlined the importance of peace on the LAC as a prerequisite for normalcy in the broader relationship, and called for China to take forward disengagement of troops in the two remaining friction points.

Indonesia former Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto has declared victory in the presidential election following unofficial vote counts indicating a significant lead, potentially securing a single-round win in his third bid for the presidency. 

Indonesia, a trillion-dollar economy, is impossible to ignore. The country held its election on Wednesday with defence minister Prabowo Subianto and ex-governors Anies Baswedan and Ganjar Pranowo all competing to become the next president.
