From silver shoes to clothes, Ram Lalla's 'in-laws' bring 3,000 gifts from Sitaji's birthplace to Ayodhya temple
Ayodhya. The gifts, including silver shoes, ornaments, and clothes, were handed over to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust by Ram Roshan Das, the priest of Ram Janki Temple in Janakpur. The gifts were transported in a convoy of around 30 vehicles from the Janakpur Dham Ramjanaki Temple in Nepal and arrived at Karsevakpuram on Saturday. Among the participants were over 500 devotees of Ram Lalla's 'in-laws', who brought more than 3,000 gifts, including fruits, sweets, gold, silver, and other items.

Just 40% voting in Bangladesh Parliamentary polls
Sheikh Hasina is set to return to power for a fourth straight term in office as early results point to sweeping victory for her party, Awami League, in the parliamentary elections. India and Nepal have decided to strengthen the power transmission systems between the two countries and help each other to progress in the energy sector, according to a statement issued by the Indian Embassy in Nepal. Nepal, India sign long-term power agreement
Nepal on Thursday signed a long-term agreement that will facilitate the export of 10,000 MW of electricity to India in the next 10 years during the two-day visit of External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to the Himalayan nation. SJVN gets govt approval to form JVs for 8778 MW hydro, renewable projects
SJVN Ltd on Monday said it has received the finance ministry's permission to form four joint venture firms for the development of hydro and renewable projects with a total capacity of 8,778 MW in India and Nepal. SJVN will be the leading partner in three joint venture companies, whereas SJVN's wholly-owned subsidiary SJVN Green Energy Ltd (SGEL) will be the leading partner in the fourth JV, a company statement said. According to the statement, the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM), Ministry of Finance, Government of India has agreed to the proposal of SJVN and Ministry of Power to form four joint venture (JV) companies for the development of Hydro and Renewable Projects in India and Nepal.

India extended 308 Lines of Credit aggregating more than USD 32.02 billion to partner countries
external affairs ministry announced that, as part of its development assistance programme, India has extended 308 lines of credit aggregating to $32.02 billion to partner countries over the years. Of this, about $17.06 billion has been extended to Asia, $12.15 billion to Africa and $2.81 billion to others, it said. Around 600 projects have been taken up and executed in several sectors, including infrastructure, power, connectivity, agriculture, education and health, the minister of state for external affairs V Muraleedharan informed the Rajya Sabha on Thursday. He said grant assistance projects are concentrated primarily in India’s neighbourhood in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bhutan. “India’s developmental projects are based on the needs and aspirations of the partner countries. The main instruments of support include lines of credit, grants-in-aid as well as capacity building programmes.
