Govt, Mahayuti dispensation conspired for 'wholesale surrender' of Maharashtra's interests: Congress
C-295 aircraft facility inaugurated in Vadodara was earlier supposed to be set up in Nagpur and alleged that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's instructions, the Centre and the Mahayuti dispensation have conspired to ensure the "wholesale surrender" of Maharashtra's interests. Congress general secretary in-charge communications Jairam Ramesh said the people of Maharashtra will give a befitting reply to the PM and his colleagues for their betrayal of the state. The opposition party's attack came after Prime Minister Modi and his Spanish counterpart Pedro Sanchez inaugurated the Tata Advanced System Limited (TASL)-Airbus facility to manufacture C-295 military aircraft in India. The Tata-Airbus facility is the first private sector final assembly line for military aircraft in India. «Today, the non-biological PM is in Vadodara to launch the Tata-Airbus C-295 aircraft facility. This exact same project was supposed to be set up in Nagpur, but was shifted to Gujarat in 2022 on the eve of the assembly elections there,» Ramesh said in his post on X.

Tata-Airbus plant: India's dream of making a civil aircraft taking off?
Narendra Modi made a significant observation. «All of you have witnessed unprecedented growth and transformation in India's aviation sector in the last decade,» he said. «We are already working to make India an aviation hub. This ecosystem will pave the way for Made-in-India civil aircraft in the future… This factory is going to play a major role in the design and manufacturing of civil aircraft to meet the future needs of India and the world.» The TATA advanced systems limited (TASL) Campus in Vadodara will manufacture C-295 defence transport aircraft, the first private sector final assembly line for military aircraft in India. Under the C-295 programme, 16 aircraft will be delivered directly by Airbus from Spain and remaining 40 will be made in India. TASL is responsible for making these 40 aircrafts in India in partnership with Airbus. Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs gets engulfed in another controversy: Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband Ojani Noa blames him for their divorce
Ojani Noa, the ex-husband of Jennifer Lopez, attributes their divorce to Sean Diddy Combs. In an interview with ‘Despierta America,’ Noa revealed the dissolution of the couple's brief, from 1997 to 1998, marriage. Diddy was partly to blame for that divorce, Noa said in response to a question concerning the couple's split, as quoted in a report by Page Six. In Spanish, Combs was going to be one of the producers of several tracks on the first album 'On The 6' when Sony came and paid her the millions she got. That's where the lies, the deceit, and the separation began. She was working on the album between Miami and New York, and I was in Los Angeles opening my restaurant. Regarding his divorce from the ‘On The Floor’ hitmaker, Noa continued, that's where the deception began—that distance, that separation.

France extends internal border controls until April 2025; What travellers to Schengen area need to know
France has announced its decision to maintain internal border controls until April 30, 2025, due to heightened terrorist threats and concerns over irregular migration. The French authorities formally notified the European Commission that border controls with neighboring Schengen countries—Belgium, Spain, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Germany, and Italy—will not conclude on October 31, 2024, as initially scheduled. The extension follows the country's ongoing concerns over public safety. France's current border control measures will end on October 31, 2024, and a new set of controls will take effect from November 1, 2024. The decision comes amid threats related to terrorist activities, the presence of criminal networks involved in illegal migration, and migration flows that could potentially include radicalized individuals.

According to Page Six, Harry's relatives, Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, also own a vacation home north of Lisbon, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have purchased a property in Portugal. US election 2024: Did Kamala Harris really use teleprompter? Here's bitter truth
Kamala Harris used a teleprompter during the event which resulted in criticism from former US President Donald Trump and other eminent conservative leaders suggesting that Kamala Harris was reading from scripted responses, reported USA Today. Enrique Acevedo, Univision’s moderator, following such alleged criticisms later clarified that teleprompter was solely being used for his opening statement while it later displayed a timer during Kamala Harris’s responses. According to USA Today, Enrique Acevedo confirmed through a post on social media that any claims of US Vice President Kamala Harris using the teleprompter during the event were totally False. Enrique Acevedo also added that the teleprompter showed text in Spanish primarily and it was not at all intended for her assistance while it got switched to a timer as Kamala Harris started engaging with questions from the audience.
