Coldplay to bid farewell to albums. Chris Martin's announcement shocks fans
Coldplay has no plans to stay around indefinitely. The rock music icons recently revealed their retirement plans. During a conversation with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, Chris Martin, the lead singer of the seven-time Grammy-winning band, revealed that the group plans to retire following the release of their 12th studio album. The veteran singer explained that right from the band’s inception, they had always strived not to compromise with the quality of their music, and becoming too prolific, may hamper that. “We are only going to do 12 proper albums and that’s real,” Martin told Lowe. “Having that limit means the quality control is so high right now and for a song to make it, it’s almost impossible, which is great. And so where we could be coasting, we're trying to improve,” he added. Martin also emphasised that good things should always come to an and. «There's only 12 and a half Beatles albums. There's about the same Bob Marley, so all of our heroes. and also having that limit means that the quality control is so high right now, and for a song to make it, it's almost impossible, which is great.» to an end and not extend indefinitely. There’s only seven Harry Potters,” he told the publication.

'Dune' sequel opens big in US, crosses $81 mn on day 1
Warner Bros.' new sci-fi film «Dune: Part Two» shot to the top of the North American box office this weekend, taking in an estimated $81.5 million, industry watcher Exhibitor Relations reported Sunday. «This is an outstanding opening» for a sci-fi sequel, said analyst David A. Gross, adding that a sprawling international cast including Anya Taylor-Joy, Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Jason Momoa, Josh Brolin, Lea Seydoux and Javier Bardem had provided an added boost. Denis Villeneuve's epic sequel to the original «Dune» — based on Frank Herbert's 1965 novel about war and survival on the deeply inhospitable desert planet of Arrakis — saw the young year's largest opening, roughly doubling the original film's opening. «Dune: Part Two» has taken in an additional $97 million abroad.
