Polling Playbook: What the numbers really mean in the US Presidential race
US presidential race is heating up, but national polls are saying only so much. Whether Democrat Kamala Harris is trailing or Republican Donald Trump is gaining ground, it’s all part of the competitive landscape, according to TOI. Here’s the deal: polls aren’t designed to predict winners. They can track shifts in voter sentiment, but with only a small number of truly persuadable voters, capturing those changes accurately is tricky. Voter opinions can shift before Election Day, and those horse race polls only reflect a snapshot in time. For instance, if one candidate has 48 per cent support and another has 45 per cent, that tiny margin might not indicate a significant difference at all. The Associated Press focuses less on horse race polling numbers because it believes they can exaggerate the importance of pre-election data, reported TOI. While election-year polls are useful for gauging public sentiment about candidates and issues, they don’t equate to actual election results. Even the freshest poll right before the election reflects opinions before the votes are cast.

Why is #KamalaGropedMe trending on Twitter?
Twitter (now X) exploded with the hashtag #KamalaGropedMe, with thousands of posts. Ironically, many users were tweeting in confusion, wondering what it was about. One confused X user tweeted, «What is this #KamalaGropedMe?» A response explained that the hashtag is trending in reaction to a former model's allegations against Donald Trump, claiming he groped her in the 1990s. The ex-model, Stacey Williams, alleged in an interview with The Guardian that the incident occurred during a visit to Trump's New York office in the 1990s, after being introduced to him by the late financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Trump hurls a string of insults at Harris including 'lazy,' a racist trope against Black people
Donald Trump on Tuesday hurled a series of personal attacks at Vice President Kamala Harris, calling her «lazy» — a word long used to demean Black people in racist terms — and repeatedly questioning her intelligence and stamina. At an event in Miami aimed at courting Latino voters, he said Harris was «lazy as hell» for not holding a campaign event. Trump's comments ignored that Harris spent her day in meetings in Washington and recording interviews with Telemundo and NBC. He referred to the first woman of color to lead a major party ticket as «slow» and having a «low IQ.» Later in the day during a rally in Greensboro, North Carolina, he called Harris a «stupid person» and went on to ask: «Does she drink? Is she on drugs?»

Did CBS edit Kamala Harris's interview? The news network has finally broken its silence
Kamala Harris in the interview on ‘60 minutes’, reported New York Post. The network had to come with this acknowledgement as the former US President Donald Trump appeared with the claim that the editing was deceitful and it held an intention of making the appearance of Kamala Harris more articulate. According to New York Post, CBS News has rejected the assertions made by Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump firmly and labeled them as ‘false’. CBS News asserted that the editing of different portions of Kamala Harris’s answer to the repeated question regarding the actions taken by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu amidst the unrest situation in the Middle East asked by the interviewer Bill Whitaker was done for clarity. New York Post noted that in a statement, CBS also came with an explanation that this version of the show has appeared to be more succinct with the allowance for a broader level of discussion with the segment of 21 minutes. Karoline Leavitt, the campaign spokesperson of Donald Trump has argued that the admission of CBS has confirmed the accusation of manipulation made by them for presenting Democratic Presidential candidate Kamala Harris in a way which is more favorable.

Soft landing or Hard landing of the U.S economy? It's more like no landing; what it is, here's all you need to know
According to a Business Insider report, there is a chance of a 'no landing' scenario, where things would be bullish for US stocks. Under these circumstances, high-dividend yielding sectors will be benefited since short-term rates will collapse first. This scenario also includes a major run for hot economic data and growth which will end up in boosting the US markets but will also witness a steep rate cut cycle from the US Federal Reserve, says Business Insider. Institutions like the Bank of America and UBS could be one of the primary once affected in this no landing outcome but it must also be noted that under these estimated circumstances, the growth of the US markets remains stronger than ever, with a deflation of inflation fears along with an elevation of interest rates. One of the most unexpected talking points in U.S elections, did Kamala Harris work at McDonald's? Here's the answer
Kamala Harris has often referred to her time when she used to work at McDonald's early in her life during school days which reflects her understanding of the struggles of working families. According to The Telegraph, Donald Trump has argued claiming that it was a lie to gain favor from the voters and he also asserted that he confirmed with the manager of a McDonald’s restaurant that Kamala Harris was never an employee there. The Telegraph reported that McDonald's authority has made themselves distanced from this debate with the statement that they are not able to verify this information due to lack of employee records from the 1980s of this brand.
