The user expressed outrage over the absence of qualified engineers or technicians at the site, stating that such negligence is unacceptable given that customers have invested their hard-earned money into these products. Tagging prominent figures including Ola Electric’s CEO Bhavish Aggarwal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Minister Gadkari, Kamra's post urged government agencies to intervene and address the grievances.

Pedro Sanchez will begin a three-day official visit to India on Sunday-the first by a Spanish head of government in 18 years-which officials said will focus on defence industry partnership and cooperation in infrastructure and the Mediterranean region. Sanchez will land in Vadodara within 24 hours of German chancellor Olaf Scholz's departure from India, making it a back-to-back meeting with two European heads of government for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In Vadodara, Sanchez and Modi will inaugurate the Tata Advanced Systems Ltd's (TASL's) final assembly line facility for the C295 aircraft on Monday, according to officials.

Indian embassy is in touch with German officials regarding the Ariha Shah case and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also raised the issue with his German counterpart, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said on Friday. He further said that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz also assured Prime Minister Narendra Modi that he is «closely following» the issue. «The case of Ariha Shah who is in Germany under foster has been followed very closely by us at various levels. Our Embassy in Berlin has taken it up with the German side. When EAM was in Germany he raised it strongly with his counterpart. I can confirm it was raised during the meeting as well today,» Misri said addressing a press briefing on Friday.

At the 7th India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultations (IGC), German Chancellor Olaf Scholz described India as an anchor of stability and requested Modi to work jointly to bring about political solutions to the twin conflicts that have been raging for long. «The ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and West Asia are a matter of concern for both countries. India has always been of the view that war cannot be a solution to problems. India is ready to make every possible contribution for the restoration of peace,» Modi said, with the visiting German chancellor by his side. At the IGC, the two sides signed 18 agreements and documents, including a Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty in Criminal Matters and an agreement on exchange and mutual protection of classified information.

Odisha's Bhadrak district experienced severe disruptions early on Friday as Cyclone Dana made landfall in the eastern state. Strong winds and heavy rains saw trees uprooted and roads blocked, with the cyclone's landfall expected to last a few more hours, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The IMD reported wind speeds of 100-110 km/h, with gusts reaching 120 km/h, saying, «The severe cyclonic storm 'Dana' moved north-northwestwards with a speed of 12 kmph and lay centred over north coastal Odisha, about 15 km north of Dhamara and 30 km north-northwest of Habalikhati nature camp (Bhitarkanika).» Odisha's Revenue and Disaster Management Minister, Suresh Pujari, noted that approximately 10 districts are likely to be affected. «Around 10 districts are likely to be affected by the cyclone, comprising 60 blocks, 2131 villages, 12 urban local bodies, and 55 wards in different urban local bodies. The evacuation process has already reached its conclusion...Three lakh seventy-seven thousand people have already been evacuated...,» he said.

Kazan [Russia], October 23 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of 16th BRICS Summit in Kazan on Tuesday. PM Modi invited Putin to visit India next year for 23rd India-Russia Annual Summit. The two leaders reviewed bilateral cooperation in various sectors, including political, economic, defence, energy, and people-to-people ties, Prime Minister's Office said in a press release. This was their second meeting this year as the two leaders had earlier met in Moscow for the 22nd India-Russia Annual Summit in July 2024.

Narendra Modi on Tuesday, during his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Kazan, said that India has been in touch with all sides on ending the Russia-Ukraine conflict through dialogue and that «India is always ready to help bring peace». In his opening remarks at the meeting with Putin on the eve of the BRICS summit, Modi said, «We have been in touch with all sides in the Russia-Ukraine problem. It has always been our position that all conflicts can be solved with dialogue. We believe there should be peaceful solutions to conflicts. India is always ready to help bring peace.» These remarks must be viewed in the context of Modi's earlier conversation with Putin on the Ukraine conflict and his two meetings with the Ukrainian President since August. Following his visit to Kyiv, Modi telephoned Putin to share his thoughts and later NSA also met Putin and apprised him about the PM's trip. While India has not created a peace formula like Brazil and China, New Delhi has been in touch with all stakeholders to end the conflict through negotiations and pitched for Russia's presence in peace summits for durable peace.

World Meetei Council (WMC) in a letter to Prime minister Narendra Modi has sought replacement of the current chief minister N Biren Singh citing his inability to restore normalcy even after 17 months. The WMC letter stated, “We wish to express once again our grave concerns regarding the ongoing situation in Manipur, which has persisted for the last 17 months.
