There is a possibility of heatwaves and loo. From May 7 to 10, there will be a heatwave. From May 10-11, there is a possibility of light rain in some regions. NEET exam centre in Rajasthan on Sunday led to some candidates walking out with the papers, the National Testing Agency (NTA) said, claiming the integrity of the examination process was not compromised. The exam was later reconducted for the 120 affected candidates at the centre, said Sadhna Parashar, Senior Director, NTA. According to NTA sources, some candidates were distributed question papers in languages other than their choice of medium which prompted them to walk out of the centre. «During NEET-UG examination, it came to attention that at one exam centre, Girls Higher Secondary Model School, Mantown, Sawai Madhopur, there was an incident of incorrect distribution of question papers by the centre superintendent. Despite efforts by invigilators to prevent it, some candidates left the exam centre with the question papers,» Parashar said.

The measures taken by the city-headquartered bank have yielded a decline in Gross NPA to 3.90 per cent as of December 31, 2023, from 11.69 per cent recorded as of March 31, 2021, the bank said in a statement here. To sustain and bolster this momentum, the bank has published a sale notification that pertains to the sale of 92 NPA loans, aggregating to an outstanding due of Rs 13,471.68 crore. «Indian Overseas Bank in its concerted efforts towards reduction of NPA has embraced a multi-pronged approach to ensure maximum recovery in NPA accounts.
