Earlier on March 19, Disha Salian's father had filed a petition in the Bombay High Court, seeking a probe into his daughter's death and called for interrogating UBT Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray. Talking to further, Singh said he is not aware of the reasons Salian's father moved the court, as earlier the latter had also agreed the death was by suicide. «Before (Disha) Salian's father had said he doesn't know anything, it is suicide only, but after that how and what he researched to say it is not a suicide but a murder, that I do not know. If it is true or not how can I say?» Sushant Singh Rajput's father added.

UPI transactions, which are valued at less than Rs 2,000 and are made to small merchants, the acquiring bank and other involved stakeholders will be eligible for an aggregate incentive at the rate of 0.15% per transaction value. According to the circular, “the scheme, which has an outlay of around Rs 1,500 crore for 2024-25, will have the government pay incentive to the acquiring bank (Merchant's bank) and thereafter shared among other stakeholders, namely issuer bank (Customer's Bank), Payment Service Provider Bank (facilitates onboarding of customers on UPI apps and API integrations), and App Providers (TPAPs). As per NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India), P2PM merchants, or small merchants, are those who have a projected inward UPI transaction value of less than or equal to Rs 50,000 per month.

Sebi on Wednesday barred former TV anchor Hemant Ghai and his family members from the securities markets for five years for violating regulatory norms. Apart from the ban, Sebi has directed Hemant Ghai and his wife Jaya Ghai to disgorge the unlawful gains worth Rs 6.16 crore, along with 12 per cent interest per annum to be calculated from March 31, 2020, till the date of the interim order. It has also slapped a penalty of Rs 50 lakh each on Hemant Ghai and Jaya Ghai, Rs 30 lakh on MAS Consultancy Service, and Rs 5 lakh on financial services company Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd (MOFSL).

The primary contention in the Family Court ruling was the partial compliance with the consent terms, particularly regarding alimony. As per the agreement, Chahal had agreed to pay a permanent alimony of Rs 4.75 crore to Verma, of which Rs 2.37 crore had already been paid, Bar & Bench reported. The Family Court viewed the non-payment of the remaining amount as non-compliance, leading to the rejection of the waiver plea. She says, “Today, shapewear has moved from thicker fabrics to high-compression thin fabrics. It is also being looked at beyond occasion wear.” She says people now want outerwear with shaping function, like a knit top that shapes the abdomen.
