Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg devised the program, which is set several decades after the events of the first «Karate Kid» films and rekindles the rivalry between Daniel, who is now middle-aged, and Johnny Lawrence, who is played by William Zabka.
