startup MyCaptain said it has received Rs 14 crore funding from a bunch of investors including Inflection Point Ventures, an angel investing platform. The other investors in the funding round were MyNavi, Piper Serica, Super Capital and Ankur Capital, it said. With this fundraising, MyCaptain plans to expand its hybrid programmes into diverse cities, establishing four regional sales centres. It is also looking at introducing new programmes with a target to reach a portfolio milestone of about 50 beginner courses and five placement readiness programmes, according to a company statement.

CBI registered three FIRs on Tuesday hours after the Calcutta High Court ordered a probe by the federal agency into the attack on Enforcement Directorate officials at Sandeshkhali in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district. While one of the FIRs mentions suspended — and arrested — Trinamul Congress leader Shahjahan Sheikh as the prime accused, the other two FIRs are registered against «unknown miscreants» and «unknown persons». Sheikh, who managed to evade the police dragnet for nearly two months, was recently arrested by West Bengal Police. The suspected offences for which Shahjahan Sheikh has been booked by CBI include «rioting, rioting armed with deadly weapons, unlawful assembly, wrongful restraint, obstructing a public servant in discharge of public functions, assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty, voluntarily causing hurt, mischief causing damage, theft, criminal intimidation, acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention and mischief causing damage to public property of PDPP Act».

DDA Housing Scheme Online 2024: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) started the third phase of e-auction of its luxury apartments on March 5. These include penthouses in Dwarka sector 19B. The registrations for the e-auction began on February 28. The first round of e-auction was for 296 apartments on January 5, in which 274 apartments were booked. In the second round of e-auction, 707 apartments were up for grabs when it was conducted on February 5.

A charge-sheet has been filed under the anti-money laundering law against 299 entities, including 10 persons of Chinese origin, in an investigation linked to alleged duping of investors in the name of mining cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoins, the Enforcement Directorate said on Wednesday.

This is something to be aware of that the pressure may not end in a day. Will it also spread to the Nifty, that is the second question I am getting because early in the morning Nifty was not selling off and Bank Nifty is still positive today. In 2018, we saw such divergences between the Nifty and smallcap. But usually, when one is falling a lot, the other one eventually gives in.”
