SpaceX's lawsuit claiming a US labour board's structure is unconstitutional, after a judge in Texas granted the agency's request to send it to California. A panel of the New Orleans-based 5th US Circuit Court of Appeals in a brief order said the Los Angeles federal court should not have processed the transfer last week, days after the appeals court paused it pending an appeal by SpaceX.

The court's 5-2 decision overturns a 2022 lower court ruling that effectively blocked work on the Black Butte mine north of White Sulphur Springs by revoking its permit. Attorneys for Montana Trout Unlimited and other conservation groups claimed the mine's permit from the Department of Environmental Quality, or DEQ, was unlawful.

Arvind Kejriwal's lawyer on Monday told SC that he has no problem in admitting that he committed a mistake by retweeting an allegedly defamatory video, circulated by YouTuber Dhruv Rathee, related to BJP IT Cell. A bench headed by justice Sanjiv Khanna, without issuing notice on a plea of Kejriwal challenging a Delhi High Court order which upheld summons issued to him as an accused in the criminal defamation case, asked the complainant whether he wanted to close the matter in view of Kejriwal's apology. The bench also directed the trial court not to take up the defamation case involving Kejriwal till March 11.

Uzbekistan sentenced 23 people to prison terms on Monday over the deaths of 68 children linked to contaminated cough syrups produced by India's Marion Biotech, following a six-month-long trial. Manish Sisodia's one year in Tihar: Reads Bhagwad Gita, plays badminton, calls home
Manish Sisodia, who completed one year in jail on Monday, spends most of his time inside his cell reading books from the library, playing badminton and reading the Bhagvad Gita, a Tihar jail official said. Sisodia was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI) in connection with the Delhi Excise Policy scam on February 26, 2023. He was later arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) also in the case and then sent to the Tihar jail. Sisodia is presently lodged in Tihar jail number 1, where he stays in his separate cell shared with two more inmates, who are lodged in non-heinous cases, official sources said. Tihar has 16 jails. All the cells, wards and barracks in the jails are heavily mounted with CCTV cameras installed by the prison authorities.

INLD Haryana chief's killing: Congress demands HC-monitored CBI probe
Congress on Monday described the killing of Indian National Lok Dal's (INLD) Haryana unit president Nafe Singh Rathee as the state's «first political murder» and demanded a probe into the incident either by a high court judge or a high court judge-monitored CBI investigation. Senior Congress leader Raghuvir Singh Kadian said Rathee's death was not natural. «It is a political murder and the first such incident in Haryana after it was carved out as a separate state (in 1966),» Kadian said in the Assembly. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate around 2,000 railway infrastructure projects worth over Rs 41,000 crore on Monday. The PM said these works will further improve 'ease of living' for the people. «In order to enhance the travel experience, 553 stations will be redeveloped under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. The foundation stones for these stations would be laid. Overbridges and underpasses across India will also be inaugurated,» the minister said in a post on social media platform X. These 553 stations, spread across 27 states and union territories are being redeveloped at over Rs 19,000 crore.
