In a statement, MP Congress chief Jitu Patwari said, «An open drama going on in the name of investment in Madhya Pradesh. Crores of rupees are being spent in the name of government publicity. When the CM and officials got bored of roaming in various states, they are now exploring the possibilities of government tourism abroad.»

The total population coming under these panchayats was more than 86.95 crore in the said period. Among the states, Gujarat collected the highest amount as OSR at Rs 829.75 crore, while Kerala came second collecting Rs 802.95 crore.

In April, online credit card spending was Rs 94,516 crore, which was 60% of the total Rs 1,56,498 crore spent. The portion of online spending grew to 63.4% in July, dipped slightly to 62.4% in August, and then reached 65.3% in September.
